NEW YORK, NY – On Monday, April 29, The New York Pops marks its 30th birthday with a grand gala evening honoring the musical talents of songwriters Frank Loesser and Jule Styne, and the centennial of legendary entertainer Danny Kaye. Paula Zahn, host of NYC ARTS on PBS, will host the evening.
The event begins at 7:00 PM with a concert at Carnegie Hall featuring a spectacular lineup of guest artists under the baton of Music Director Steven Reineke. Performers include Nick Adams, Laura Benanti, Stephanie J. Block, Liz Callaway, Will Chase, Megan Hilty, Marilyn Maye, Rob McClure, Donna Murphy, James Naughton, Kelli O’Hara, Laura Osnes, Leslie Uggams, Max von Essen, Anthony Warlow and Betsy Wolfe. The New York Pops will also be joined by the Ronald McDonald House® Rockin’ the House Band and Chorus, Camp Broadway Kids and The New York Pops Salute to Music Students. Following the concert, a black tie Dinner Dance will be held at the luxurious Plaza Hotel.

All gala and auction proceeds support the orchestra and its free education programs throughout New York City.
