Jane Lynch to Host Princess Grace Awards Gala

She has already hosted the Emmys and she currently hosts Hollywood Game Night on NBC, but Jane Lynch‘s next hosting gig will be at the 2014 Princess Grace Awards Gala.

The Glee star will host the Oct. 8 ceremony, where Dick Van Dyke is set to receive the Prince Rainier III Award for his service to his community. Along with Van Dyke, Inside Llewyn Davis actor Oscar Isaac and ballet dancer David Hallberg will be honored, with both receiving the Princess Grace Statue Award for their work.

Late-night host Conan O’Briendirector Adam Shankman and Academy Award winner Geena Davis will be presenting the night’s awards, with the Canadian musical group The Tenors set to preform at the Beverly Hills Gala. This is the first time in three decades that the ceremony will take place in Los Angeles. Christian Dior Couture is the presenting sponsor of the gala, which is co-chaired by Dick Wolf and his wife, NoelleBob Iger and his wife, Willow Bay; and Sidney Toledano and his wife, Katia.

Started 32 years ago by Prince Rainier III of Monaco to honor the legacy of his wife, Grace Kelly, the Princess Grace Foundation works to identify and assist emerging talent in theater, dance and film by awarding grants in the form of scholarships, apprenticeships and fellowships. The foundation has given out more than $10 million to more than 800 recipients since the foundation was established.
